When searching for users from a certain user_role a little trickery has to be used to be able to find the correct users. table wp_usermeta [meta_key] => [wp_capabilities] [meta_value] => [a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}] The problem here is that the WP_Roles class does not support passing a site ID, so it will always retrieve the roles registered on the current site.
